Hey Guys,

Scott and I gave this a try last week, and I’d have to say it worked out pretty well. A couple of button pushes, and the other party was hailed via DSC. When the other party was contacted, or an incoming call was received, the radio would give a ringtone, switch to the right channel, and you just had to answer.

Give it a try!

Yeah, there’s no telling the guys on busy channels to switch up two or down one or whatever. It automatically finds an open channel and switches you when you accept the call. Plus there’s no need to try to raise the other guy, it dials them and hails them so if they pick up you know it without worrying if they can hear you or not. You’ll know. Heck my ring is so loud I can hear it at 40 mph.

A piece of advice though, learn to use it first because, um, I felt stupid fumbling around it. On my radio its really simple though, very intuitive… and cool to use, too.
