I had the same thing happen but with just operator error. We used the washdown and put it back in the embedded canister. We didn’t turn the nozzle to the off position. Along the way the washdown switch got accidently turned on and the washdown sprayed water into the bilge through the inside of the CC. The auto bilge too care of it but it was a mess. Now we make sure the nozzle is off before we turn off the pump. Just things you learn.
