Just thought I’d let you guys know that my original site, Ocean Skiff Journal, is back!

I was not updating it for a while, as I was converting it to use the same platform that BTB uses. It turned out to be a major effort, because of the volume of content on OSJ, and the very different internal site structure. But everything is there, plus a little more.

I’ve kicked things off with a profile of Jones Brothers Marine, which is an east coast builder of some very nice CC hulls. Capt. Scott (Paradigm Shift Charters) runs their 26’ Light Tackle Series.

OSJ differs from BTB in that it is much more focused on small boats and general offshore fishing techniques that could apply anywhere, versus SoCal fly-fishing related content. There will be some crossover articles, but by and large, they will be unique.

Your user ID from this site is also good on the other site, so you won’t have to re-register over there.
