I’m headed down to P.V. this coming month and was lookin for the hot dope on fly patterns for inshore fishing. Anyone fished down that way and nailed any roosters?

I have not in PV but I have on the East Cape. Any pattern that does a good Sardina or Mullet is effective. If you see my pattern for the

tie it with light brown and tan over white and it makes a good fly if you are trolling with Lisa (Mullet) and doing the bait and switch. The Tuna Tux which you can buy from Gary Bulla’s website is a great Rooster pattern as well. They have a wide profile like a Sardina but are not bulky, easy to cast and their spaseness creates a very luminous effect. I like the Olive the best but I’ve used black as well.
also I took some Roosters and Pargo on my ATM fly as well. Nick Curcione has a great sardina pattern as well. He posts/writes here sometimes.
here’s a good pattern and/or ordering locale

Maybe it’s too late but I know the place. Too sad that I commented late.
