Capt. Scott Leon (Paradigm Shift Charters) called to report that he picked up 20 albacore to 24 lbs, and lots of skipjack in the double-digit category, all around the 390 Bank. Weather and swell were great, until he got near the Coronados and some mixed swell conditions made it a bit rough until he cleared the islands. His clients were not fly fishing, but he reports that the fish would have been easy targets for fly gear. They got lots of doubles and even some triples on the jigs while moving around.
