OK…at the Fishermen’s Spot Discovery Day Event this Saturday, I will holding a little contest:

- I will be marking off the first 100 yards of line / backing on my Loomis Synchrotech 10-11-12 LA reel
- The line will be stripped into my Pleskunas VLMD
- Contestants will hold the butt section of the rod with the reel
- At a Timer’s command, they will crank the line back onto the reel as fast as they can.
- The person with the shortest time to reel the line all the way on to the reel (i.e. the forward end of the fly line is wound into the reel) will be declared the winner
