- Be sure your user name is in the form of Givenname.Familyname, or Familyname.Givenname (for example: john.smith or Li.Fong). Your screen name can be anything you want, as long as it conforms to the other terms of service (i.e. no pornographic or commercial names). If you do not do this, your account will be deleted.
- Depending on which site you registered, you will be receiving an e-mail within a few minutes from either editor@beyondthebreakwater.com, or editor@oceanskiffjournal.com. This e-mail contains a link to an account activation page. Please be sure to change any spam filter tools you have installed to allow these e-mails to be received.
In order to complete your registration, be sure to visit the activation age within two days. If you do not activate your account within that timeframe, you account will be deleted, and you will have to re-register.
PLEASE NOTE: We do not solicit ANY additional information from you on the activation page. If there is anything on the activation page asking you for any kind of personal information, please exit the page and contact us immediately.
