Our friend Al Quattrocchi (AlQ, ondafly) announced the "One Surf Fly Beach Classic" tournament, to be held May 9, 2009 at Dockweiller State Beach, in Los Angeles. Proceeds will go to Heal the Bay, a nonprofit environmental organization dedicated to making Southern California coastal waters and watersheds, including Santa Monica Bay, safe, healthy and clean.

While not a "Beyond The Breakwater" type event, it's for a great cause, be sure to check it out!
