The Electric Deceiver

Al Quattrocchi's version of Lefty's Deceiver combines some interesting features and tying techniques to produce a lifelike and effective baitfish imitation...
Fishing Notes
The way I like to fish the Electric Deceiver is by using a non-slip mono loop on the end of my tippet. This allows the fly to move freely with a life-like motion.
The fly can be fished subsurface with a floating line. By adding a few wraps of lead around the shank, shortening up your leader and using a sinking shooting head, they can be fished deep.
I have a lot of fun playing aound with various color combinations, and hope you will create some new ones for yourself!
