Al Quattrocchi's Electric Deceiver
Hook TMC 800s, Mustad 34007 or Gamakatsu SL11-3H
Thread Clear mono
Eyes (Optional) 3-D molded eyes
Tail White bucktail or saddle hackle with pearl flashabou
Body Large mylar tubing, flared around shank similar to a Muddler Minnow
Wing/Collar Large mylar tubing, flared around shank similar to a Muddler Minnow
Head Large mylar tubing, flared around shank similar to a Muddler Minnow
Glues and Finishes Head cement to reinforce body tie-in points; five-minute epoxy or TufFleye to finish the head; Goop if 3D eyes are used. Permanent marker pens can be used to color the body if desired.

Tying notes

  • Try to use the softest mylar tubing material you can find for the body, wing and head.

  • Use water-proof magic markers to make any color combination.
